A tree line at 62 feet sits under the line of sight but inside the first Fresnel zone — the link would pass a naive check and fail in the field. Eighteen feet of mast clears it.

Twice a year the FCC wants to know where you can install within ten days at standard cost. We build that file, reconcile it, upload it, and stay on the phone until it validates.
The validator also carries the macro sites of the three national mobile networks — tens of thousands of them — and re-runs the identical terrain, Fresnel and foliage model against the ones in range. If you resell wholesale fixed wireless, a blocked path stops being the end of the call and starts being a different product.
Illustrative readout. Every carrier row is a real path run, not a coverage-map lookup — same LiDAR surface, same first-Fresnel test, same foliage budget as the paths to your own towers.
Truck rolls, marketing spend and door knocks all get spent before anyone knows whether the path clears. A no-serve that arrives with a working alternative is the difference between a sale on wholesale margin and a sale to nobody.
The sequence matters: bad coverage data filed on time is still bad coverage data, and it is what challengers and BEAD planners will hold you to.
Tower coordinates and heights, sector azimuths and bands, your subscriber export, and last window's filing if you have it. A spreadsheet is fine. We do the cleanup.
Every candidate location gets a path run against terrain and clutter. Marginal paths get flagged rather than guessed at. You review the borderline list before anything is filed.
The filing stays in your name and your FRN — that part is not delegable. We prepare the submission, walk you through certification, upload, and clear every validation error.
Flat. Not per location, not per tower, not a platform seat you pay for eleven months a year to use twice. If your data is a mess, that is the job — it does not become a change order.

Line of Sight comes out of a working fixed wireless and fiber operator across seven Midwest states. We built the path validator because the alternative was sending techs to installs that terrain had already decided against, and we built the filing side because we were doing it twice a year anyway.
That means you are not explaining what a sector is, why your coverage polygon is not a circle, or why a location 400 feet behind a ridge does not count. We have argued the same points with the same spreadsheet.
Data as of June 30 is due the following September 1. Data as of December 31 is due the following March 1. The filing window opens well before the deadline, and uploading early matters — validation errors surface at upload, not at submission, and there is no grace period for finding out on the last day.
If you are a facilities-based provider with one or more end-user connections in service on the as-of date, yes. There is no small-provider exemption. You also still owe subscription and voice availability data, which moved into the same system.
You do. The filing is made under your FRN and certified by your people — we cannot and do not certify on your behalf. What we do is make sure the thing you are certifying is accurate and defensible before you put your name on it.
Challenges are why the validation half of this exists. When someone disputes a location, you need the path analysis that supported the claim, not a recollection of what the sales map looked like. We keep the run for every location we file for you.
If you resell wholesale fixed wireless, often yes. The same run that blocks your tower checks the national carriers' macro sites in range and tells you which ones clear the path, how far away, and whether the site is LTE or 5G. You get a serve/no-serve on your own network and a fallback answer in the same result, instead of losing the address entirely.
Open crowdsourced observation data for the site positions, combined with the FCC's Antenna Structure Registry for real registered structure heights. It is not supplied by the carriers and implies no relationship with them. Positions carry a few hundred feet of scatter, so where a site is not ASR-registered we derive height from LiDAR and let the model stay conservative — it would rather tell you a marginal carrier path is blocked than send you to sell a link that will not hold.
No, and keeping those apart is deliberate. Availability data belongs to the provider that owns the facilities serving the location. Carrier fallback is a sales-qualification answer, not a coverage claim you make to the FCC under your own FRN. We keep the two outputs separate so nothing you can resell ever leaks into what you certify.
Most of them price a platform and hand you the work. This is priced as the work. If your current arrangement means you personally spend a week each window fixing shapefiles, that is the thing we are selling you out of.
If your tower data and subscriber export are in reachable shape, two weeks is comfortable. Under a week is possible and has been done. Send what you have and we will tell you honestly which one you are.
